Another Mobile CE Device: Amazon Kindle 2

Most of the mobile CE deivces to hit the market have historically been in South Korea. This started with Samsung's HSPA camera and went through some portable media players and navigation devices. In the US, we've had a limited number of mobile CE devices. Most of the noise was initially around connected navigation devices (PNDs with WWAN) until the first Amazon Kindle came out. It was only after the Kindle was announced that more people understood the potential for more chipset sales, more mobile device sales (aside from handsets and laptops), new business models, and more revenue potential for mobile operators. Now Amazon has announced its second generation mobile e-reader, the Amazon Kindle 2.
